This years Fur and Feather venue has been changed from Beehive to Beechwood Swan 1 & 2

Just to reiterate one of the Club rules, their is strictly NO NIGHT FISHING on the River, Dusk till Dawn only. Anyone breaking this rule is risking not only their Membership but the Clubs continued access to the River.

Please be extra careful when fishing on the river please as the recent high winds have brought a few trees down, we are in the process of removing what we can.

Match fishing has now recommenced although some venues have a limited amount of pegs available, so make sure you book in with Steve Stone early.

We have started bank clearing on the River, ANYONE is welcome down there to help, the paths and driveways need raking of debris if you do decide to go down.

In line with Government recommendations and in the interest of every ones safety, the AGM is cancelled and will be arranged at a future date to be advised.

The A.G.M. this year is on Tuesday 17th March 2020 8.00pm at Alfies (previously the Moon), all members welcome, any proposal letters from Members must be received one week before the A.G.M.

Fishing on the River, would anyone fishing on the River check the platform before setting up on it, just a precautionary measure in case any damage has occured during the close season, any concerns please let Steve Harrison know with the peg number.

With the new season fast approaching some work is needed on the River, bank clearing, the first session is planned for Tuesday 16th April meet 4.00 - 4.30pm, all welcome!

GREAT NEWS! Goodmans have very kindly completed our own dedicated access road down to the river!
The new road is just before the old gate, please make sure it is always locked behind you.
We have also put a combination lock on the new gate on the opposite side of the road, it is a slightly different lock, enter the code and pull the bar down at the bottom.

Bream feed on the Deeps!
With the river colouring up during the match fished last Sunday 10th August, the Bream switched on for several anglers making for some impressive weights.
The winner on the feeder was Bream expert Ian Wooley with 24lb 2oz, his largest fish over 8lb!
second was Ray Scarlett with 23lb 4oz and third Paul Davies 21lb 1oz.
